Welcome to the Career Development Solutions FAQ page! This page is designed to answer your initial questions about our training programs, funding options, and career services. Whether you are just starting to think about a career change or are ready to enroll, we have the information you need to make an informed decision.   • Q: What do you need from me for a Career Consultation?

    A: During your complimentary career consultation, we will want to know: 

    – Are you currently working? / Are you collecting unemployment?
    – What careers are you are considering?
    – Tell us about your work history.
    – Do you plan on applying for government grants to help with paying for training?

    Our Education Advisors will also suggest possible industries and courses you may not have considered based on your background and skills, so come with an open mind!

  • Q: Is the training in-person or online?

    A: We offer both! We have 9 brick-and-mortar training centers for in-person training and we offer live instructor-led online training nationwide.

  • Q: When do classes start?

    A: We have programs starting every Monday! This varies by location.

  • Q: How long are your training programs?

    A: Programs are made of many individual courses and can be scheduled in the morning, afternoon, or evening. Our in-person programs generally last anywhere from 7 to 22 weeks. 

  • Q: Do you offer night classes if I have work during the day?

    A: Yes! We also offer many of our courses on-demand for extra flexibility when needed.

  • Q: What if I get a job mid-program?

    A: A new career is the goal! We have solutions to help you finish your program–chat with us so we can make this work for you. 

  • Q: Do you offer study support outside of the classroom?

    A: We provide tutoring sessions with instructors and instructor-led exam prep sessions.

  • Q: What kind of computer equipment do I need?

    A: We recommend a double-monitor setup to best follow along during instructor-led classes. Talk to us if you need loaner equipment. 

  • Q: What kind of funding is available?

    A: Visit this page for the most current list of funding options that we accept. We recommend speaking with a local Education Advisor because funding options will vary based on your location and current situation, as well as your specific training needs and career goals. 

  • Q: Can you help me with job placement assistance after my program is complete?

    A: We provide resources on career readiness including webinars and trainings on crafting resumes and acing interviews. We also partner with a nationwide recruiting firm that can offer assistance to our students.
