Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing & Switching
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching certification demonstrates your ability to deploy, maintain, secure, and operate a medium-sized network using Cisco technologies including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN.

This curriculum includes basic mitigation of security threats, introduction to wireless networking concepts and terminology, and performance-based skills.
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
After achieving your CCNA Routing & Switching certification, you are ready to take the next step and earn your Cisco Certified Network Professional Level (CCNP) in one or more specialty areas, including routing, switching, design, security, wireless, or voice.

The CCNP Program indicates advanced knowledge of networks and shows that the network professional can install, configure, and troubleshoot local and wide area networks for enterprise organizations with networks from 100 to more than 500 nodes.

What Do Network Administrators Do?

The importance of network availability ensures that this job role will be needed for years to come. The Network Administrator role can be a starting point in IT or a lifelong career because of the massive amount of skills to be learned.

Network Administrators are primarily responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining all network hardware, software, and communication links. They also make sure that employees’ workstations are working efficiently and stay connected to the central computer network.
