Cybersecurity encompasses the securing of network communications, administration of public key infrastructure (PKI), certificate management, and the enforcement of organizational security policies. Additionally, the curriculum provides comprehensive skills in analyzing, testing, troubleshooting, and evaluating network systems, including local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs), ensuring their optimal operation with minimal interruptions.

This course will prepare students to pass the current CompTIA Security+ certification exam. After taking this course, students will understand the field of network security and how it relates to other areas of information technology. This in-depth, comprehensive class is designed for security professionals. You will get to understand the “Common Body of Knowledge” which contains a common framework of security terms and principals used by security professionals worldwide.

This high-level security program is a combination of CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensics Investigator (CHFI), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

You will learn about the core information security triad and assurance tenets (confidentiality, integrity, and availability) as well as access control systems and methodology.
